Third degree tear???

Question

I shared this on another group, I wasn't sure which group was right. Also at the end of the passage I left out that rather I thought it was the depth of internal tearing. I just read it and it seemed confusing. Thanks in advance for any feedback

Ugh I wish I knew the answer to this for both of us! With my 9.5 month old, I tore internally and hemhorraged, requiring 2 blood transfusions. It literally took 3 months for me to recover. Fast forward to now and we are expecting again in June...I would love to try again with a vaginal birth but I am just terrified 😭 my doctor seems to think that tearing previously has no bearing on if it will happen again, but I'm just not quite sure. He also said that subsequent births tend to be shorter and easier. But...I want real life experiences and answers, lol. Good luck mama!

I'm not sure what your asking but I had a third or fourth degree tear with my son 6 years ago. My crappy doctor didn't give me any info as to what happened. But it took me a full 6 weeks to heal. I was in terrible pain. And am definitely terrified of it happening again. I've been very open with my new caregivers- basically in whatever happens dear lord don't let me tear again thing. I think being open about my concerns will help my doctor focus on how to approach me.
