My and my boyfriend have been together for a year and lately I have engagement on my mind! Have any of y'all experienced this and if so, what did you do to clear your head? I feel like waiting and waiting will make time go by slower!

I'm the same, and same with moving in together. We've been together a year and I know it's still very soon for both, we like to take things slow. But I can't help but constantly fantasize about the day we'll go to sleep and wake up together every day, and the day I'll be able to call him my husband. What I do to help with those urges, is tell myself that we're both still young, and have the rest of our lives to take those steps, open up those chapters, and make those things happen. No need to rush into it!

I waited 9 LONG years! A long time I know lol it drove me crazy And I'm actually glad we waited that long! We literally never fight and we know everything about each other! Our marriage now is amazing!

I feel the same way. I think the best thing to do is to talk to him; my boyfriend and I talk about the future on a day-to-day basis. Don't throw anything huge and major out there, but talk to him about the future of your relationship. Who knows, he may be planning to propose!

My husband asked me after dating 6 month so I was completely in shock and wasn't expecting it .

I think AND ITS ONLY MY OPINION that men want to get married when they are crazy in love but don't have any of the every day happiness , fir example : cooking together and having dinner , you letting him to stay over night once in a while , doing small cute things rarely randomly so everytime it's over he starts dreaming about repeating it and how great it was . Don't overdo cute things so he thinks it's always available for him , that will indirectly effect him and he will admire everything sweet you two do together or you do for him while he is away .
