TMI please help?!?!

Could this be implantation bleeding??  It started 2 days ago and at times has been a VERY light pink color. But has now turned into a brown color. My period is due on the 23rd and I took a pregnancy test today and it said not pregnant. I wasn't sure if my body has had time to get the adequate hcg levels or not. Also my period is always on schedule. It has been a very small amount of discolored discharge as well for the past 2 days. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I went through something similar last week (from the Thursday before to last Tuesday). It looked the same way, except slightly darker at times. AF was due on the 17th, so it ended two days before that. I called my doctor on Monday of last week and they said not to worry about it and to call back after I missed my period. Still no AF, HPT tests negative. I wish I had an answer for you. Just know you're not alone with this. Hoping for a BFP for you out of it! I think I'm probably put on this one. It could be implantation, HCG levels don't start until after implantation! I suggest taking a test in a few days. Good luck
