Isabelle nickname
Hi all. I am expecting a surprise baby on Valentine's Day. I have a huge list of names for boys, but our list for girls is very short. I loooove the name Elle, but husband isn't sold. He likes Ella better, but we have a daughter named Ava and I think those names just sound too similar with the -a ending.
So I've come up with a compromise that he loves- we could name her Isabelle and call her Elle. But is that just dumb to give her a gorgeous name and shorten it like that? Honest opinions please?
