Is anyone on Nuvaring?

I recently got a prescription filled for Nuvaring by my OB. I tried it out while there. It was okay. Any reviews or experiences anyone would like to mention ?

I'm on it and love it! I have PCOS and use it mainly to regulate periods. I like that it's easy to maintain and I don't have to remember taking a pill every day. (My schedule is too hectic for that). It doesn't make me gain weight (in fact, I find it supports weight loss), gives me super clear skin and I find it makes my hips rounder, giving me a more "womanly" shape. Plus, my breasts don't get bigger! (That's been a problem for me with other pills...I do NOT need any more growth in that area!) I don't notice any negative effects on my libido, but I have heard of such side effects with other women. Sex with a ring in can get a little tricky sometimes...my partner has accidentally pulled it out with his penis during more rigiurous sex...if that happens to you, just rinse it with cool water and slide it back in as soonas possible.

Not every birth control is for everyone, so you may have to try a few different kinds before you find one you like. I find healthy eating, daily exercise and a daily multivitamin help to minimize mood disturbances (mood swings were a problem for me with the ring in the beginning, but eating balanced meals, getting a good walk in every day and taking B-vitamins helped tremendously!).

I know this is probably not the best testimonial seeing as how it's not mine but my best friend used it for 3 or 4 months and she loved it! Easy to maintain, sex drive was same if not better, periods almost non existent, no weight gain, and best of all no pregnancies. She only stopped it cause her insurance ran out.

I used it for 6 months until I had a "ring-toss" incident. I went the to arm implant after that. I didn't want another scare.

I have it, and I love it! Because I know that I would never remember to take the pills, this is a great alternative.  There have been a few side effects I've noticed, but all of them are very minor.  1) I noticed that at first my appetite increased,  but now it's back to normal 2) I am little more hormonal 3) and my boobs have gotten a little bigger

I've been using NuvaRing for a little more than a year now and I love it! I use to have severe cramps the day before my period and since i've been on NuvaRing it has stopped. My boobs did grow a little🎉 but I love the NuvaRing! It's really easy to use and there is no hassle to it! I really recommend it
