Confused with his feelings😕

So there's this guy that I've been on and off with for 8 months now but in these 8 months we haven't really talked loads, he took my virginty and ever since then I've felt really attached to him :/ . When I've see him out and about he always stares at me and looks me up and down and when two other guys were flirting with me he kept staring. And about two months ago one night I met him with my friend and he was flirting more with her than he was with me and I was getting jealous😕😂 and then last we he started to message me again but now he's Ignoring me .im just confused with how he feels about me because he acts like he proper likes me and then he completely ignores me😕😕
