Sciatic Nerve Pain?

To all my mommy friends on here. During your pregnancy did any of you have a problem with Sciatic nerve pains? I have been having a pain the radiates from my back and hip down my leg. It's a sharp tingly pain only on my right side. It's almost like a lose function of my leg for a split second and it hurts. But I have looked it up on what could be causing it and Sciatic nerve pain is what came up as it is common through some pregnancies. Do you think this is what is going on and if so how can I relieve the pain? Thank you

I feel like we're pregnancy twins ! I'm having the same problem . Occasionally it hurts my lower back and hips so badly my legs almost collapse .

There are several stretches that you can do to help alleviate the pain, I would suggest looking them up online. I also see an awesome massage therapist who specializes in sports medicine and he works wonders!

Maybe try sitting on a yoga ball, to help relieve the pain!

I see a chiropractor every week. He is an absolute lifesaver I've got what is similar to hip displasia and a torn muscle in that hip as well as  SPD. I'm in chronic pain but add back pain and I'm done he keeps everything in alignment and me able to cope

Take pain killers if you need to, however I've been told  by my Dr that there's not much you can do. Try to figure out if you're doing anything that aggravates it... And don't do that thing if possible, like standing for a length of time, running, etc etc.

Mine is sleeping on my back, standing on one leg (I do It without realizing when I'm cooking!) And walking for a long time, without resting.

I had it bad last week. Try sitting in the bed with rt leg as if you were going to sit crisscross and hang your left leg off the side of bed. Then lean forward. You will feel the stretching in your back, hip, leg. This really helped for me! How it helps you too!!!

I have it this time worse than with my second. Working out has helped me and yoga. Finding the right way to sit and not laying on the floor or couch...

I've a herniated disk, so I live with sciatic pain. Some days will be better than others. Remember to lift properly,  don't do any weird twists while lifting,  and try to sleep on the opposite side with a pillow between the legs. The drugs i need for mine , I can't take while preg, so you can imagine how careful I am right now.

I have this problem. I bought an excercise ball. When I sit on it,  even for a few min, it eases the pain.
