Does anyone else?

Does anyone else struggle with Christmas time? My hubby and I have been TTC for about 2 years. This morning I woke up and was checking facebook and saw all my friends and family celebrating with there little ones and I just bursted out crying. My hubby kept asking what's wrong and I couldn't even talk. I love seeing others happy but Christmas just makes me sad. No one knows we have been trying so we are constantly asked when we're having kids. No one knows the struggles. I just smile and joke about me already having the biggest kid I could want (my hubby)

I think you should talk to one of your closest friends who can be a shoulder to cry on.  You shouldn't have to feel like you have to hide the sadness you're feeling.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time with Christmas and ttc and sincerely hope this new year will bring you tons of happiness and that wonderful bfp.

Me too:(....I saw a post on Facebook about how they thought the greatest part about Christmas was being a kid until they had kids and now having kids on Christmas is the greatest thing. ..something like that...anyway. ..it made me cry.  I feel your pain....

I felt the same way when I was struggling with infertility. I hated people's questions with a fiery passion. I was polite at first but then I started to just be blunt about it. It made people uncomfortable and they left me alone. Now I have an adorable 2 year old and a second one due in January. Hang in there, try to find a way to enjoy just being a couple (because when it's gone, it's gone), and stay positive.

We had 1 MC and then tried for 3 years before we finally succeeded. Just a practical advice: don't get upset while trying, don't waste your time. Talk to your husband and go see a fertility specialist. It took me over 3 years to feel ready to do that and I can honestly say I regret not pushing myself earlier. The fertility specialist figured out our problem (which was very minor, btw) in the very first cycle and helped us get pregnant. Even all the cost concerns ended up being almost for nothing - all the diagnostic tests were covered by insurance and we ended up spending under $500 total. Good luck to you and lots of baby dust! You could have some wonderful family pictures to share next Christmas! 😉
