Making fun of me wanting to dress my baby?

My mom and step dad always say my 4 month old should just be in a diaper because he's more "comfortable" that way

Well when I was pregnant, I invested in a lot of clothes for him. So I always put him in outfits (onesie, matching socks, bib, and pants). And then sometimes I will just put him in a sleeper. When he spits up in his clothes, I change him

They say, "wow he's in another change of clothes"

Am I the only one that dresses their kid or???? (Rhetorical)

A baby that little can't regulate its body temperature yet.. it needs to be clothed.

Lol you can dress your kiddo however you see fit. Mine basically lived in sleepers and onesies when he was tiny. We only dressed him up if we were going out, which I didn't do a lot in the beginning.

You're his mom, not them. If you want to put clothes on your baby, go for it. Especially when he's still young and won't immediately strip lol

If the house is warm enough,  a diaper is fine...but those outfits can be so adorable.  Do what makes you happy.

The general rule of thumb for dressing babies is one more layer than you'd be comfortable in. Meaning if your baby would be comfortable in a diaper you'd probably be sweating like crazy lol

Do whatever you want. Parents can be super annoying. They've done it before so they think they know the ONLY way.
Would it be cheaper to just use diapers and maybe onsies? Hell yes. But you already bought the clothes and it's your child! Bet he has great style later, right? :)

My mother gets on me for not dressing him up! 😂😂 we dress him if we are going to an appointment or something, but other than that he just either rocks a birthday suit (with diaper) or a onesie lol.
