Bad luck?

How Many Months We're You Ladies When You Starting Buying Items For Your Baby? I've been told you can't buy them early because it's bad luck.. please comment below

I bought a set of onesies and the little hats I miscarried December 13th I was almost 6 weeks. I don't believe it was because I bought that but everyone I know have told me it's bad luck.

With my 1st I was soooo convinced I was having a boy I went and brought a blue onesie for a gender reveal a colleague at work whom I told this too told me it was bad luck. I ended up having a little princess and everyone said it was because I brought the blue onesie lol. I don't see have a princess as bad luck I see it as good luck but everyone Insisted I don't buy clothes until you know the gender

A lot of people believe it's bad luck to buy things early in pregnancy.  I don't believe in that sort of superstitious stuff - how could buying some clothing or other baby things possibly impact on the outcome of the pregnancy?  
On a different note, many  people who aren't superstitious still choose not to buy things early because if something does happen to the baby it could be difficult to be surrounded by the baby's things.

I found out I was pregnant when I was 5 weeks along about a week after I went out shopping with my family, I snuck away and brought a pair of pink sucks. Cuz I wanted a girl so bad and thought for sure I would have one. Lol ended up having a boy, Idk I guess I might have jinxed it... Funny thing is, and I have never told anyone this but I still have the little sucks 4 years later lol

Oh great my mother in law sent us a baby blanket & im almost 12 weeks. Not quite in the clear yet! She better not jinx me lol

It is not a question of bad luck: if you buy/prepare a lot of stuff in an early stage and something happens to your baby, it will be more difficult to cope with every thing around you. That is why it is recommended to do it in an advanced stage where the possibilities of a miscarriage are reduced by a lot... Baby dust!!

I started out with little things. A stuffy here or a blanket there but at 13 weeks when we found out the gender I went crazy!
