Start as twins and lose one?

Question

Did anyone's pregnancy start as a twin pregnancy and lose one baby early?  I did a frozen embryo transfer with 2 embryos and my numbers were always high.  5 weeks 5 days pregnant and started to bleed.  Said it could be that both implanted and I'm losing one? Anyone experience this? The bleeding has come in the morning the last two days but is gone by the afternoon.  Seems strange that it comes and goes like that.  They won't do an ultrasound until 7 weeks and it seems like forever to wait to see if I miscarried or if I am still pregnant.

I had loss of appetite and a small amount of dark bleeding and ended up with miscarriage a month later. Then I had the same thing (loss of appetite and dark spotting) with this pregnancy and was convinced I must be going through another miscarriage. But no - twins! Wherever you look someone will have a story that one time this or that happened but nothing matters except your stor. Just pray. This could be normal

I hate to say it but I suffered from vanishing twin syndrome. I had slight bleeding after my positive and went in for an early ultrasound to see two sack and two heartbeats. One had a low heart rate at the initial ultrasound so I went back 2 weeks later for a follow up and learned we lost one. I am currently 24 weeks with a healthy baby boy and remind myself that I can't control what happened and No amount of stressing will change it. I know it won't help the anxiety but try to stay positive and remind yourself that implantation bleeding with twins is very common.
