Need some quick help.

I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time today. Last night I shaved 'down there' and now I've got bumps and they're quite painful. I usually get red bumps after shaving down there but they're not usually this painful. Has this got something to do with the sex? Or is it to do with something else?
