Finally going home
On December 12th, 2015 I went to the hospital with a blood pressure of 198/100. Turns out I had severe preeclampsia. The following days, I was put on magnesium sulfate to prevent seizures. On December 15th, they tried to dilate me with cervadil but we had no luck. So on December 16th, I had a c-section. My Melody Rose was born on December 16th at 8:18am weighing 3 pounds 15 ounces. She was breathing on her own and doing very well. The only problem she was having was eating. Slowly she started to get it. Today December 31st,2015 we finally get to take her home. She is eating great and now weighs 4 pounds 3.9 ounces. I am so proud of how far she has come.
