Missed misscarige?

Question

I went for my first ultrasound today and my doctor told me I was around nine and a half weeks pregnant the ultrasound showed i was only 6 weeks. My doctor called me and said it could be a missed misscarige or they could have the dates wrong. Has anyone had a missed misscarige? I've been having morning sickness but I've been having cramps. So I'm really worried.

Exactly what Gypsy said, I had one too in June 2015, it's horrible, you feel completely fooled by your own body, i went for a 12 week scan and baby died at 7 weeks.... No symptoms no signs nothing, I had bleeding a few days after I found out but my body still wouldn't pass the foetus naturally so I needed surgery to remove..... It's awful and sorry you're going through this

You usually don't still have morning sickness if your had a miscarriage, also it could be your ovulation date is different so that's why. I hope that's all it is for you. Praying!

A missed miscarriage is a miscarriage with no symptoms.  I have had 2 out of my 3 miscarriages. Went in for regular appointment and there was no heartbeat and baby had stopped growing. Basically there are no signs the baby has passed, no bleeding out, no loss of pregnancy symptoms, your body doesnt realize it has lost the baby so it doesnt try cleaning it out. Im sorry if that is whats happening to you.

I was supposed to be 8 weeks my first scan, I ovulated late so I was only 6w 4d.

Cramps are normal early in pregnancy. They could have the dates wrong.. There are MANY MANY women who are told they have had a miscarriage and In Reality they didn't. There was a post on here and it's had over a hundred women respond about this. Some docs even gave meds to Mom's to take to help "pass the products of conception" early on .. but they ended up giving birth to healthy babies. Some women were told to have D&C and the moms didn't go thru with it bc they knew their bodies would do it naturally... They ended up carrying and having healthy babies. Sometimes doctors are wrong. Even with the technology today. U may very well still have a healthy pregnancy. This early I would wait it out. U may have ovulated later that U think. And there is no way for doctors to know for sure. Even at six weeks it may have been too early for them to see a heart beat. Good luck and take each day as it comes.

Did they tell you that you were nine and a half going by your last period? I thought I was 7 weeks pregnant going by my last period but the ultrasound showed I was only 5 weeks. I ovulated later than I thought. I'm now 30 weeks 5 days! Keep your head up it could be something simple as that! I'm sending you my prayers!
