Having triplets and had to get a cerclage done, anyone else had this done?

I'm a FTM expecting triplets and I found out at 18 weeks that my cervix was shortening and doing so very quickly. The next day I had to get a cerclage done, and everything went fine. I'm just wondering if any of you moms out there have had this done, and if so, how long were you able to carry your baby and did you have any complications at all? I'm just curious.

I did not have a cerclage placed, but at 22.5 weeks I did find out that my cervix had shortened to 2.1cm. I've been sticking strictly with bedrest and I take a nightly vaginal dose of progesterone. My cervix last measures at 2.3cm at 26.5 weeks. I'm now 28 weeks. Good communication with your provider, rest, and drink lots of water!! Prayers for you and your babies! You can do this!

I had a emergency cerclage done at 20 weeks, cervix was down to .3mm! Was on strict bed rest with restrictions   - no sex.. Progestrone suppositories nightly! Target was to get to 37 weeks so could have stitch removed..

After having a cerclage done, expect to get it done with future pregnancies!
