I really can't decide. I just feel bad that the woman's true story isn't able to be told and her legacy is overshadowed by this whole mess. She's the true victim.

My husband and I watched the documentary the other night and I personally believe there's not enough physical evidence that should have been there to convict him. Yes his blood was in her vehicle but they found a vial of his blood from the last time he was incarcerated with a hole in the lid of it that suggests that someone placed it there. And where was the gun that she was supposedly shot with with his finger prints on it? The whole story seems fishy to me that's why I don't think he killed that girl.

Husband and I did a an episode marathon, we are definitely leaning to the side of not guilty. As posted earlier, his blood was on the car ...but that's it. Teresa's blood. Fingernails, sweat, finger prints are non existent....just her bones...which could have been planted (especially seeing as there was so few). Additionally, the bed had no sign of anyone strapped down as that Dassey boy said...he needs to be freed as well the poor kid. As for the key..those can be remade in an hour and only had his DNA on it. For some one to use that key everyday...her DNA should be all over it. Anyone had access to plant the vehivle, the county officers had motive, while they didn't kill the girl, somebody got a get out of jail free card by using Stephens property and past.
