Is it wrong to wear jewelry or use items that an ex gave you around your SO?

It depends on your so and what they're comfortable with. I have a ring and a necklace my ex gave me 10 years ago on my 18th birthday and I still wear it. It's honestly the only jewelry I wear on a regular basis. I'm not big into jewelry, and own very little. My so doesn't care, he knows I wear them because I like them, not out of any sense of sentimentality. I think it depends on the significance of the piece of jewelry.

It depends on its significance. My boyfriend's first Christmas gift to me was a ring, because he knew I wanted to buy one for myself and knew which one I wanted, so he went ahead and got it for me. If we broke up, I would feel comfortable wearing that ring because I like it and it wasn't necessarily a meaningful gift, just something he knew I wanted. However, I have a necklace and a pair of earrings that he gave me and those are very overtly connected to him, so I wouldn't wear those if we broke up and I started dating someone else. Bottom line, if the jewelry has a strong connection to your ex or was a very meaningful gift, I wouldn't wear it. If it was just a normal gift, feel free.

My ex got me a brand new iPad at the time and tmi but my husband is on the toilet using it right now lol not sure about the jewelry tho I hate jewelry.. I'm sure my husband wouldn't mind tho as long as I have on my wedding ring

I throw away jewelry, clothes, any gifts, stuffed animals, or anything an ex may have left at my house. I would be upset if my boyfriend kept anything from a previous relationship, but I'm just hella jealous and so is my boyfriend so out of respect. If it was like a tv or a car I GUESS that be be okay Haha.

I had stuffed animals from the high school days I've kept and just given to siblings over time. When my sister and her boyfriend broke up, she kept the Xbox he refurbished for her. And she uses it all the time haha.

I think it depends. If me and my husband were to divorce. I wouldn't be wearing the heart necklace he gave me on our wedding day or my wedding rings. I think earrings are fine or jewlery that means nothing to you.

When I threw my ex out (8ish years ago) I packed everything he ever gave me including jewlery with his belongings. I wish I would have sold the jewlery but I was heart broken.

An ex gave me a ruby necklace one year, after we broke up I gifted it to my niece as a birthday gift. Personally I don't want a reminder of the past everytime I look at it. The future is my goal!
