Anyone know their way around a cervix?

Hey so my AF is due in 4 days. Iv just checked my cervix & it is high up and soft to touch with creamy lotion type cm. I thought near AF it should be hard & low down? 
Could this be an early sign of a BFP??

Unfortunately, cm and position aren't reliable indicators for pregnancy. My cervix often doesn't drop until the day before or day of AF. Hope you get your bfp soon though!!!

I've read that you can't determine early pregnancy based on those things, only ovulation. 
I'm 7 dpo with low cervix (which mine is normally always low anyway) with creamy cm also.

Anyone know their way around a cervix?
