We're going with either Joovy boob or comotomo because I'll be going back and forth between breast and bottle feeding. I have friends that use both of these and have only heard rave reviews on both :)

We use Avent and the Mama bottles.  But our son will drink out of anything.

Gerber bottles are a pain, I found the nipples didn't get proper airflow and constantly collapsed.

We switched to playtex ventaire and never had a problem but I did find that while my son was under 3 months the nipples were a little big for his little face. The playtex Classic ventaire bottles were great and the nipples were just right but they seem to have discontinued them.

I'm going to give Philips Avent a try this time.

Don't buy so many of one particular brand as baby may not like it. I had bought a whole line of playtex drop in and baby did not like it. Took me 5-8 different brands to see what baby liked.
