Sex and babies

I'm not in a stable relationship but I really want a baby, I have one regular guy I sleep with but he said he doesn't want kids, should I stop having unprotected sex with him?? He thinks I still have the implant, I had the implant for nearly 2 years, I've had it so long he no longer asks about it. If I did get pregnant, I wouldn't want anything from him. Is this bad?
