Does it offend you when someone says your baby bump is getting big

I get excited when people tell me i am getting big. I was wondering because i told someone on here they were getting big and it was taken as an insult. So my question is do you care?

I think it depends on how it is said. I get excited when I hear that my bump is getting big but I get offended when I'm told it looks like multiples or a HUGE baby.

I never understood why having a big baby bump is insulting 😕 with my first I always heard "you don't even look pregnant " I hated that

Typically it doesn't bother me, because I've waited so long to have a baby bump. One person did tell me my baby was probably going to be fat because I was "so big", (I'm not even that big yet). The comment kind of set me off because I felt offended for my baby girl.

It bothers me when people make comments like "my stomach is bigger than that bump after a big meal!" Ummm rude! My baby is growing perfectly & the size of the bump doesn't matter!!

I struggled a lot with body image issues  and body dismorohia. I lost 40 pounds last year and now that I am gaining some of it back my body understands it's because of the pregnancy but my brain is seriously disturbed sometimes. My coworker said that my bump was looking cute and it made me feel way better than if someone was to say "you're so huge" or "your bump is so big" it all depends on the opinion of the individual.

I have only been offended when someone, who knew I was pregnant already, told me I didn't look pregnant. She said it just looked like a beer gut.

I love my bump....my doctor said it looks like I have a basketball on my stomach. And I was actually shocked cause I didn't think I looked that big. I mean I see my stomach everyday and I know when I start to get bigger but...ha I was shocked I started laughing! I love when people can see my bump. If she was insulted, she might just be insecure about her bump or gaining the weight. I actually look forward to seeing how much I enjoyed gained.
