Husband doesn't want me to go on birth control...

My doctor asked me about going on birth control after I give birth (I'm due feb 6th). My husband doesn't want me on it at all... It took us 4 years to conceive our first so I understand why it worries him, it worries me too. BUT I absolutely don't want to get pregnant again right away 😞 he doesn't see why not. I know it took us a long time but it could be completely different this time around and it won't be a fertility struggle, ya never know. Our infertility was unexplained after all. We're not in our own house right now and won't be until we sell our old one we're currently renting out. I think it makes sense to secure a home first but saying that just made him mad, I know he's frustrated with our current financial situation. (Because of course I finally got pregnant when we hit troubles). I don't really know what to do, we definitely won't use condoms. 6-7 years of us having sex without them... They kinda make sex suck! I'm thinking just pull out method then if it happens I guess it happens..
