Should I ask him?

I've been with my boyfriend almost 3 years now, we've discussed marriage, babies, our dreams... The lot! We recently picked out my engagement ring, but he's hidden it now 'until the right moment...' I sound like a brat, but I don't want to wait... I want to be engaged now! I was thinking I'd pop the question with it being a leap year, what are your thoughts... Ask or wait to be asked?

If he already bought the ring that means he is probably planning something beautiful. I know us women can be impatient but we have to let a man have his moment. He might be disappointed if you popped the question. Just wait on it! It's coming!! 😉

Girl, you better wait! Lol I was in your shoes last year - my fiancé and I got into a huge fight the night of his best friends wedding and although we made up just in time I was that bitter girl at the wedding pouting and upset that it would never happen to me lol. Then we went outside to get air and he was being super sweet and I was still bothered from earlier and that's when he told me. He said that the last time we were in philly he asked my dad for my hand and how he wants to spend forever with me and that he has the ring and wants to purpose while we are on xmas holiday. Well let me just say, everyday I woke up did my hair and makeup special just in case today was the day.... This went on for two months - I was pissed and even asked him to stop referring to me as his fiancée because everyone looks at my right hand after he says that. Poor guy. And I didn't realize but the added pressure he was under to make a grand proposal especially because I was waiting and knew it was going to happen. So, he ended up proposing to me after Xmas holiday while I was blow drying my hair 😑. So just wait you want your day to be special because you will never forget it and imagine the load of pressure he's facing.

I can say I'm in the same boat. Me & my guy are planning on marriage & engagement. He has told me he has a plan & it will be sometime this year. I could do it yes, however I have faith that he is planing something special so I am waiting like I should.
