My boyfriend and I were making out. He wanted to have sex but i was on my period. he asked  how heavy is your flow I said light flow, he said that's no problem, my question is are there any danger/damage of having sex while on your period.

Why do people think this? Ive heard this question asked do many times on this site. It makes my head hurt. What could possibly happen by having sex on your period? Your ovaries aren't gonna fall out, it's messy but fine.

Actually they say not to have sex on your period because its more at risk of getting infection. Your vagina has secrections to keep itself clean, its less protected on your period. I personally don't on my period unless it's like the last day or a super light day, but that's just me.
