Any other mommas out the have it? I just found out I have a week ago. Just seeing what everyone is doing to control their levels and such.

I have it.. I check my sugars 4 times a day and now.on metformi

My first glucose test I had a 180. Then failed the 3 hr. My levels are always fine except my morning fasting. That one is always around 100-105 so trying to figure out how to get that down

I have had GD  with all three of my pregnancies. (1) went undiagnosed (2) I had to test 4x a day and was put on metformin/insulin (3)so far I have been able to control it with diet and exercise, I do still check my sugars 4x a day and have rarely had any high readings. It will be different for each person, and each pregnancy. Best advice would be to ask lots of questions and do alot of research.GD  can be very emotionally draining but your bundle of joy makes it all worth it. Good luck :)

I have to take it next week. I passed it with my son, but hoping I don't have it with this one. I don't need the stress

What were your results!! ?? I just took my glucose test and it came back a bit elevated so I'm taking the 3 hr one to see if I have it

I do. Diet and exercise controlled it for a while but now I have to take metformin
