Advice please!

I am really into this guy I've been dating for some time now. I have met his mother, sisters, cousins etc. But I have not been formally introduced as his GIRLFRIEND. It bothers me here and there, due to past situations. We have talked about it before and he just wants to get himself together first, I guess for him to feel comfortable enough to be in a relationship. Any advice??
