Do you typically get any other ultrasounds after the 20 week anatomy scan?

Just wondering if I'll get to see my little cowboy again between now & may 12th :)

My doctor does the max insurance will cover. My number is 4. I might request less. I've had two already at 13 w. It's hard to say no when he wheels in that machine. I love seeing baby, but I also know the cost is fairly high. You can always get an extra ultrasound by request or go to an ultrasound place. In my city there are a ton that offer 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasounds.

My doctor always does at least one more after the anatomy scan. With my first I had 4 ultrasounds total and with my daughter I had 3 total. I wasn't at risk or anything like that. I'm now 16 weeks pregnant and have my anatomy scan in two weeks😊

Some do a scan around 35 weeks to make sure baby is head down before delivery

Usually no. But that also depends on how the pregnancy is going. I'm 19+6 today and have my anatomy scan this afternoon and won't have another one till close to my due date just to see if my placenta is still anterior or not. Other than that we just get to wait unfortunately.

Normally if everything is good in the pregnancy with no concerns or complications then you only get 2 scans, one dating and one anatomy, you can pay privately to have more and a 4d one. I have to have one every 2 weeks since 24 weeks as I'm high risk so all together I've had 10 scans, I had one at 5,7,9,12,20,24,26,28,30,32 and every 2 weeks till deliver.
