Need your opinion -dealing with Doctor
Ok so. Today at my 12:30 appt, my doc said that either tonight or tomorrow he wants me to come in and get induced. He said he just needed to contact the hospital and see who was on call, set up a time, and then he'd call me and let me know. 5pm came and I hadn't heard from him, so I called the office. The admin said he was with a patient and that she will call me back to let me know what's going on.
So I waited... About an hour. No call back. Knowing the office was closing soon, i called back again. It went straight to voicemail!
So I called the midwife that was "on call" and she said that the doc was expected at the hospital at 8pm, and she'd have him give me a call. It's now 9:45pm. STILL NO CALL!
Obviously I'm not going to get induced tonight. But if I'm going in tomorrow, I would like to know so I can be prepared and so my husband can call out of work if he has to.
Should I call AGAIN? I feel like I'm being a pain but I also think I should've gotten a call back already. I don't think it's right to leave someone hanging like this. Thoughts?
