I am recently married. We got married on July 17th of last year after 4 years together. My husband's best friend recently got engaged to his gf of a year. Now they found out that they are expecting. The best friend and gf are not all that excited because they are having financial problems(bad money management and recreational drug use).

I am having jealousy pangs even though I know that me and my husband want to enjoy married life for at least 2-3 years before having children. I am not per se jealous of their situation because they are going to have a hard road ahead. But I cannot pin point the exact thing I'm jealous about.

Please tell me some of y'all insight or previous experience
