Whooping cough vaccine
Hello, I am from Chicago, IL, my doctor advised me to encourage everyone who will be close to my newborn to get the whooping cough vaccine. My mom had one already and my fiancé will be getting his. When my fiancé mentioned that to his parents, they threw a fit and saying they never get any vaccine and they never get flu shot nor chicken pot shot or whatever.
The state Wisconsin is providing free vaccines to whomever is in the family that will have a new born because it is that bad and they knows it is needed.
What's your advice? In some way I feel that they shouldn't see the baby until the baby is up to date with vaccines.
