I went into pre labor the night before on January 1st. The next day around 11pm I realized that these contractions were not going to budge. I went to the hospital and as there checking me they broke my water the rest of the way. I was there all night and morning in and out of the tub, walking the halls, bouncing on the ball etc I kept trying to make it without an epidural until I was at least 5 cm. Finally at 1 pm I was 5 cm and told the nurse I want my epidural now. Not even 2 min later I yelled I needed to push. Sure enough I was 8 cm and then I went to 10 cm not even 2 min later. Baby was born at 1:15pm with a natural birth. They had did an episiotomy which didn't bother me, but the stitches were horrible feeling, without any numbing or pain meds. Afterwards my placenta didn't want to come out so they had to give me some pitocin. About 30 min later that came out. That was honestly one of the worst parts.

It really is all worth it. I never thought I could love so much.
