Relieved but disappointed

So I used a condom but later when I went to throw away the wrapper I discovered it was expired, this was on the day i was ovulated so it was the highest risk of getting pregnant.  For the past week I have been nauseous and cramping and all around fatigued and I was suspecting that I could be pregnant. Well, Aunt Flo showed up this morning (a day early too). I'm relieved as a baby right now is out of the question, I'm in school and between me and my fiancée, I'm the only one working right now but I'm disappointed because the thought of being pregnant got me excited.
