Husband stashing away money.
Sorry ladies. You get to hear me vent because I hate telling my friends my personal issues.
When my husband and I got married we started a joint account.... Yet my husband decided to keep his old account. (He didn't tell me until 6 months later)
I didn't wanna make a fuss about it. He is entitled to some independence. His checks go into our joint account and we pay our bills out of the joint accounts. Only the mortgage comes out of his personal account so we transfer the money every month.
Well right now my husband and I are having a hard time financially and we are unable to pay our bills. So my husband went into our retirement funds and transferred $2,000 into our joint account to catch us up on our bills.
Well today I went into a our bank account and my husband transfer $1,000 of it into his personal account. Isn't that suspicious? Am I over thinking this?
I asked him why the transfer and he said to pay bills. I said we pay all of our bills from our joint account except for one (we are caught up on mortgage and $1,000 is almost twice the amount we pay each month).He got very defensive and yelled at me for questioning him. Wtf???
What the hell would he need $1,000 for?
