I can't think of any group that I would want to join enough.  I think it is very immature so it is highly unlikely I would respect a group that did that kind of thing.

Any group of people that would even think of subjecting another person to hazing, whether harmful or not, is a group of people I would never want to associate with. It's ridiculous to me that you have to prove yourself and get humiliated like that to be friends with people. So stupid.

No amount of doing stupid and/or dangerous shit will make me respect anyone and any group wanting to force other to do rando bull just to be in their group is worth being a part of. If you want to be respected do some good for the world.

They're probably not the type of people I'd want to be in a group with if I had to guess. If it's so light hearted and fun as some people claim then it wouldn't be hazing, you can have roast sessions amongst friends and be cool.
