is it okay to take milk of magnesia??

It was on the safe list of medications to take my doctor gave me, but it says here that's there's alcohol in it? I just took a cap full and realized it afterwards. Is this the wrong milk or is this safe to take?

That is less than 1% alcohol. It's minuscule, even if you drank the whole bottle. Most cough syrups have a small amount of alcohol too.

Yes it's fine. My Dr said I could take it when I was having bathroom issues. :)
