Am I ovulating?

Hi, been ttc since July. My husband is 12 & 1/2 years older so that may be prolonging things, but I am 29 years old & generally healthy, taking pre-Nadal vitamins as well. I have taken so many ovulation tests & had ones where the line is just about as dark as the control line but it says the line should be darker. Does this mean I'm not ovulating?? My period is normal now, about every 30 days. Thanks in advance for any insight! So nice to have support & women to talk to!
