My first miscarriage was like this I passed a huge clot and then after that it slowed down a lot and like 3 days later passed placenta. Do NOT use a tampon!

Mine was just like that yesterday. The night before I'd had bad cramps & back pain, then in the morning it was cramps, lower back pain, & occasional nausea. After it was out, I was instantly better of all three symptoms (so weird!). And now I've had much lighter bleeding today. 
Someone above mentioned having to pass the placenta afterwards, which to be honest I hadn't even thought about before, so we'll see how it goes now!

No tampons! And both my natural miscarriages I bled for 7 days like a longer period. But change your pad frequently.  First miscarriage I changed it every couple hours and I got an infection.  Second one I changed my pad every time I went to the washroom. Sorry for your loss.

Definitely NO TAMPONS!!! It can't be stressed enough!! The increased risk of infection is so high if you do. So not worth it! So sorry for your loss, and hopes for a speedy recovery! If you decide to try for a rainbow baby, sticky baby dust when the time comes!
