Pain in my hips

I'm 38weeks today and as of Thursday January 28th I was 70% thinned out and 2 1/2 cm dilated. I don't know if anyone else experiencing this but when I sit down on the bed or the toilet or even standing I get this sharp pain in my hips like I'm standing wrong or sitting wrong is that the baby lowering down or could it be something else. I'm a first time mom?? Any advice??
