Stubborn SO

So my SO just put toast in the toaster, went on his game, smelt burning and said "oh I forgot my toast" I said "go check it then" he was like nono my game. So I went and checked it

There was smoke everywhere and the toast was black I got so mad at him and told him to take responsibility and to admit it was his fault he should have checked it

He said it was the toasters fault that it didn't pop up

I just shouted at him, we have a woman living upstairs, a dog and he still doesn't admit he was wrong

Just so stubborn

We could've all died and he still would have blamed the goddamn toaster!!

Am I in the wrong? he is not admitting defeat on this one and won't speak to me
