Sickle cell anemia is a blood disorder where the red blood cells are frail and useless, think "sick"le cell. It shouldn't effect his sperm.

I would test your for a carrier.. Doesn't matter if you have symptoms or not.. Its genetic.. If you don't your kids will not have it but they could be carriers themselves...

Sickle cell won't prevent you getting pregnant but make sure that when you have babies you have them tested because you'll want to know if they have it.
