HPV!!

So I just got a call back from my doc about my labs. Everything is normal, except I tested positive for HPV! And I won't get to know more until my appointment on Friday.

Can someone explain this more to me?? I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant with my second. What does this mean for the baby?

How was this transmitted to me when I've had the same partner for 4 years?? I'm pretty sure I didn't test positive for it with my first child. So, is this something that can flare up and get transmitted after our first child, or did someone here sleep around!?

Please and thank you for any advice. Please don't be too harsh, I'm sort of fragile right now...
