What do you do if iron pills make you sick?

I've been told in the past of low iron, and finally figured out why this time I'm nearly passing out.   But, my issue is I can't take iron pills.    They make me sooooooo sick.

I take slowfe it's a slow release iron pill. I don't know what your taking but it might help with the sickness if your taking something stronger

I have the same problem - I take mine at night right before I fall asleep and it hasn't caused me any problems - I also drink something really strong like V8 strawberry lemonade to help with taste!

I was anemic with my first pregnancy, i couldnt take the iron pills! They gave me the worst stomach ache. I just changed my diet, red meats, leafy greens, lots of beans and lentils

Mine leave a horrible tast in my mouth so I try to take it between eating and with either apple juice or cranberry. Meat also makes me cringe so I have to rely on the pills.

Try taking the liquid formula , you take it before meals ! I take it and have no problem with it at all :)
