hi guys! so I had an irregular period I started to birth control sometime last week on the 26th. since I have started the pill I have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend over 10 times. can I still get pregnant!?!? pls help

The pill is 99.9% effective if it is taken correctly, if you have taken it correctly your chances of becoming pregnant are very slim! It takes at least 3 days after finishing a packet for your period to come.

It's not impossible but it's really unlikely. Keep in mind that your period may be weird for a few months after starting the pill. As long as you take it every day on time you really have nothing to worry about!

Top comment was a great explanation, chances are slim but it's always a great idea to read the instructions on your birth control to know when the pill will start working effectively. Most of them start working after 7 days
