Chemical pregnancy?!

Question

Can some just explain this to me because I've seen it posted in a few places. I've had a M/C. But I'm not sure what chemical pregnancy is..?

A chemical pregnancy is when the egg starts to form into a ball of cells but never gets to the implanting into the uterus lining part most likely from a genetic or chromosomal abnormality.  The women most likely will experience a period a couple days later than expected.

From what ive read (which may not be 100% accurate) it is when you have a mc within the first few weeks after implantation.   Your little fertilized egg has implanted and you can get a bfp but after a few days or a few weeks your body sheds your lining and the pregnancy isn't viable.
