Appropriate body part names

What do u think is an appropriate private part name to teach your child? I taught my 5 year old daughter that hers is called a vagina and boys penis but my husband and his mom think it's weird that she knows that and should call it something cute like g g or cuter bug.. But I was taught u need to learn the appropriate names. What do you guys think or teach if kids
