I was so in love with my ex and I just want to more in love with my SO we have been together for a little over 2 years and I just want to love him more

My first was more of a first lust I realize now that I am getting older. My husband now is the complete package.

I try not to compare my relationships in the past to the marriage I have now. They were all different from each other.

I'm not gonna vote cause my situation isn't an option. I love my husband differently than I loved my ex. My ex was my wild, careless, and fun love and my husband is my serious, grown up, and stable love. Not saying my husband isn't fun but it's different from when I was 17. So I loved them about the same but in different ways if that makes sense.

I once naiively thought my ex was the best guy for me and that I'd never meet another man who'd treat me better. HA. Oh, sweet little 23 yr old me. I love my husband way more than I ever imagined I could love a man, and he still treats me like the queen of his world even after 5 years. 
And turns out, my ex (then exclusive bf) was making out with a random chick he met at a bar with "the guys" while I was home making his birthday dinner! (I found this out through one of our mutual friends 6 months after we broke up.)

What I've found in my 3 serious relationships, is that it's a different love. My SO now is for sure the one I love the most. But it's a different kind of love than the first two,  and that's the best part. I got the high school love out of my system and the I want to fix you love. Now it's just pure happiness,  respectful,  easy love. We have the same  values, same goals,  and we don't need each other to make us complete. He makes me complete myself and proud of myself. He's everything I want and need.
