Acupuncture to induce?!?!? Anyone try this?

So I am 40+2. I am attempting a VBAC and I am really desperate to have one. If my little lady doesn't come by the 16th. They will take her by c-section. At that point I will be 41+1. My doctor said pushing my c-section back is not an option due to the size of the baby. I have not lost my mucus plug or dilated at all at this point. Labor inducing drugs are not an option because it increases your chance of uterian rupture. Has anyone had success with acupuncture to induce labor? I have literally tried EVERYTHING else. I have an appointment today at 5. Fingers crossed we can get something going.
