Lipstick lesbian problems!

So I'm into both guys and girls, mostly girls when it comes to sex, but because I look so girly other bisexuals/lesbians don't even look twice at me and just assume I'm straight. One girl even told me I'm 'way too feminine to be gay'! (I didn't know that was possible, I didn't think i had to look a certain way to be into the same sex, but I guess society has their stereo types).. Does anybody else have this same problem?!
