Retroverted/Tilted uterus?

Hello! I just came home from my first appointment with my OB. She examined me and said that I have a slightly tilted/retroverted uterus. The ultrasound was done and thankfully my rainbow is healthy! But I'm just concerned about my uterus... Does tilted uterus cause any problems during delivery? Anyone else who're pregnant and have tilted uterus? Any advice is welcome.. Thank you!!

I have the same. 5 babies and natural deliveries without any trouble! My mom has the same and 4 children . All should be well.

It's doesn't have any effect on your pregnancy. I also have it. Your uterus will tilt foward into the "normal" position by around 12 weeks and then go back to being retroverted after birth of baby.
People used to say it was harder to give birth naturally but that's nonsense I know lots of people who have tilted uterus' and had multiple natural births!

I have that. My midwife said to think of it as a balloon that stands up as its inflated. The only thing different is that it took us another couple weeks to hear the heartbeat with a Doppler.

I have it as well. I'm not sure if it caused the problems I had though. My baby was in my pelvis "wonky" so she was basically trying to come out my butthole. We ended up with a c-section because I couldn't dilate past 7 cm with the way she was positioned.

Mine is slightly tilted too. The only problems we may run into are greater chances of lower back pain and hemorrhoids due to our uteruses literally sitting on top of our colons. 😕

I'm almost 40 weeks (tomorrow actually) I had a tilted uterus and it fixed itself.

They told me mine is during my first IUI. I was surprised nobody mentioned it before. From what I understand, all should be fine.
