How do I tell him?

I really wanna try for a baby and my partner and i are very serious. He wants a couple more years of freedom but waiting will put my chances of a high risk pregnancy really high due to my diabetes. How do I explain to him that I don't want to wait without making him feel pressured?

Just try to have a conversation with him but be ready for the possibility of him not being ready for children just yet. If that's a deal breaker for you then you may need to reevaluate things. Hopefully the talk goes well!

I asked my hubby about kids a few months ago and he told me he'd love them but he wasn't sure about having them right now and then he asked me my opinion. I told him 'I understand your decision about kids, but I'm worried that if I wait too long I'll have a harder time carrying a baby due to my diabetes' and I explained the extra precautions I'd have to take just being a diabetic. and as soon as he heard it he decided waiting wasn't worth it if the outcome was the struggle I would have to go through. me and my hubby are about to turn 21 and he's becoming an electrician so we are trying for a baby. everything kinda fell into place for us.

I would just have an open discussion about it and explain your side and listen to his. luckily I have kept my A1C levels for the past 11 1/2 years at a 7 and they usually want you to be a 6 or below I believe, so I'm working even harder. but there will be a lot more dr visits and more stress. so money will be a big concern.

Just be honest with him and tell him. Or even have him go to a doctor appointment with you and let your doctor tell him.
